Full Retail would have been $12.93, i paid $4.33.  A savings of 67%.

1 bottle of Act mouthwash @ $3.49 with $2.00 worth of coupons – $1.49

1 tube of Aquafresh kids toothpaste @ $1.89 with $2.00 worth of coupons – ($0.11)

1 can of Garnier mousse @3.49 with $2.00 worth of coupons – $1.49

Full Retail was $17.08, I paid $7.01.  A savings of 59%.

Just a little tidbit for my girls back home.

Kleenex – There are coupons for $0.35 off three kleenex pkgs.  That coupon will be doubled as well.

Suddenly Salad – You can click on the link below and save $0.50 off two boxes.

Muffin Mix – There were coupons in the recent papers for $1.00 off two packages.

Yogurt – On sale 10 for $6.00.  There are coupons for $0.40 on six, which can also be doubled.

Raisin Bran/Mini Wheats – On sale for $3.50 a box, coupons for $0.70 off a box were in the recent papers.

Prego – On sale for $2.00 a jar.  There were coupons in the recent papers for $0.75 off three jars.

This is just a quick review without much work or research.  Hope this pushes some of you in the right path.

Sunday Newspaper

In case you didn’t know yet :), the Sunday newspapers on a holiday weekend have no coupon inserts.  These are the weeks when you will need to rely heavily on your website coupons.  Below is a reminder of a couple of sites that will still have manufacturer coupons for your use:

Full Retail was $77.21, I paid $42.63.  Savings of 48%!

Lesson to be learned…

From time to time the price marked will not ring up correctly at the register.  Please remember that courtesy is the best policy here.  If you are polite and understanding the store is much more likely to help you and match the price.  If you yell, scream, curse etc. I wouldn’t help you either.

Remember all stores have a policy that all prices are subject to change, blah, blah, blah legal insert here….  They are not required to help you out, it is an act of customer service.
